What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and understand how you interact with the platform. TLC uses cookies in a minimal and purposeful way — only what is necessary to keep things running smoothly.
Cookies We Use
We keep it simple. TLC only uses essential cookies that are strictly necessary for the platform to function. We do not use advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies from third parties.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| wordpress_logged_in_* | Keeps you authenticated while logged in to your TLC dashboard. | Session | Essential |
| wordpress_sec_* | Secures your login session and protects against unauthorized access. | Session | Essential |
| wp-settings-* | Stores your dashboard interface preferences. | 1 year | Essential |
| tlc_cookie_consent | Remembers that you have acknowledged our cookie notice so it does not show again. | 1 year | Essential |
| Third-party trackers | Not used. TLC does not deploy advertising or behavioral tracking cookies. | — | None |
How to Control Cookies
Since we only use essential cookies, disabling them may affect your ability to log in and use the TLC dashboard. You can manage or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Here is how to do it in common browsers:
Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data.Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data.Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies.
Digital Card Visitors
When someone views your TLC digital profile, no tracking or advertising cookies are placed on their device. The only data we collect anonymously is interaction telemetry (views, clicks) for your analytics dashboard — this does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors.
Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time as our platform evolves. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of TLC after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
If you have questions about how we use cookies, feel free to reach out via our Contact page.
